View complete press release: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Poor Does Not Have to be With Us AlwaysCan We End Poverty in Jamaica?
Basil Waine Kong I was amused to learn recently that the winners of the US$250,000,000 Powerball lottery were three millionaires (asset managers) in Connecticut. It started me thinking about how and why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. I am also thinking of the gentleman who prayed fervently but futilely every day for God to bless him so he could win the lottery. Finally God had to speak directly to the gentleman: “If I am going to help you win the lottery you should at least buy a ticket. I can only help those who help themselves.”

Hon. Portia Simpson-Miller
Jamaica’s Prime Minister, The Most Honourable Portia Simpson-Miller won a landslide victory in the general elections held in December 2011.
This first female prime minister is a true Jamaican success story and a great example of my What What What Approach – What you do with what you have determines what you become® Her efforts paid off after stressing her dedicated service to Jamaica of over seventeen years and she is now at the helm of steering our beautiful island as we navigate towards a progressive future.
Women have been financiers and managers of families in Jamaica for decades.
Currently there is an increasing trend of Caribbean female leaders and resulting from the recent elections several women have been elected from both the People’s National Party (PNP) and the Jamaica Labor Party (JLP). Now these decision makers will determine the financial success of our beautiful island.
The following eight women won their seats from both the PNP and JLP parties:

That's because
there is also
death in life,
least in most,
an answer in every question,
a delay in every urgency,
a friend in any enemy,
an enemy in any friend,
persistency in every inpersistency,
help in every unhelpfulness,
undoing in every doing,
each word in every opposite. <3
So it is only in Hate of any opposites or enemies,
we must tend to either underdo or overdo,
and
we are still unprofitable
overdoing-in-attitude
or overbearing-in-attitude servants at those times when we do do enough.
Luke 17:5-10:
Without Love, doing our duty or even going above and beyond still is unprofitable.
1 Corinthians 13:3:
Without Love, even giving up our lives for others is of no profit.
